The authorising officer

The authorising officer, who may be a primary, secondary, delegated or subdelegated officer, takes the initiative to act with a view to implementing the budget.

The OOBBC contains the terms establishing the responsibilities of the authorising officer, both in terms of commitments and settlements.

The decree of the Brussels-Capital Government of 19 October 2006 concerning the financial actors also includes the terms concerning the various types of authorising officers.
